EFCON Carrybox is a wall-mounted and easily transportable wastewater sampler that can be used in various (temporary) situations. Only applicable with two different sampling techniques, namely vacuum or peristaltic.

The enclosures are equipped as a standard with an Unitronics Jazz controller that features all standard settings.
In addition, they can also be prepared for BUS systems.

1. Wall-mounted Vacuum sample

  • Robust wastewater sampler according to the vacuum principle.
  • Sampling can be time or volume (pulse or flow) proportional or with a
trigger contact to start/stop time-based sampling.
  • Basic 24-line data recording.
  • Standard with 8m suction hose with id 16mm, optional with id 12mm
  • Parts in contact with medium: PC, PVC, SS316, Silicone.
  • According to EN 16479, EN ISO 5667 and NEN 6600-1

Contact EFCON for customised solutions such as MODBUS, WI-FI, UMTS, Open channel flowmeters etc.

Pump module Vacuum sampler:

  • Maximum suction height of pump module is 8 metres
  • 3x diaphragm pump 24 VDC
  • 1x SS air valve 24 VDC
  • Volume 17 L/min
  • Suction height 8 metres according to EN 16749

2. Wall-mounted peristaltic sample wall

  • Simple peristaltic wastewater sampler according to the ‘peristaltic vacuum principle’ with a DN 9 hose.
  • Sampling can be by time or volume (pulse or flow), proportional or with a trigger contact to start/stop ‘time-based sampling’.
  • Bidirectional peristaltic pump, simple and convenient.
  • Basic 24-line data recording.
  • Standard with 8m suction hose with id 16mm, optional with id 12mm
  • Parts in contact with medium: sample tube and PVC
  • According to EN 16479 and EN ISO 5667

Warning! Peristaltic Samplers (produced by EFCON and all other competitors) do not comply with the NEN 6600 Sampler Design Instructions, which claim a 12mm open diameter of a water sampler and therefore may not be used for billing purposes in the Netherlands.

Contact EFCON for customised solutions such as MODBUS, WI-FI, UMTS, Open Channel Flowmeters etc.

Note! For use in heavy duty applications, we recommend using vacuum samplers over peristaltic samplers. Peristaltic samplers are used more (worldwide) for portable R&D projects. Vacuum samplers have superior reproducibility, while peristaltic samplers can take a larger sample shot volume.

Important opportunities:

  • Top-quality wastewater sampler
  • Designed with a minimum of fragile parts
  • Suitable for vacuum and peristaltic sampling
  • Patented, extremely robust, chemically resistant and stable thermoplastic housing
  • Specially built for harsh environments (4-year warranty on the housing)
  • Use of 24 VDC standard components for safe operation and easy worldwide service support

Warranty period:

If installed according to the installation manual:
Thermoplastic housing: 4 years
Electronics: 24 months excluding wear parts
