  • EFCON inline guillotine samplers; Heavy duty inline sampler from closed ducts
  • EFCON peristaltic samplers; Suction sampler from open channels or wires (most commonly used in portable applications)
  • EFCON inline ILS 3W samplers; Inline sampler from closed ducts with sample purge (up to 10 bar)

Which types of samplers does EFCON supply?

We offer three main types of samplers:

  • Vacuum samplers for reliable sampling over longer distances or under variable conditions.
  • Peristaltic samplers for simple sampling over shorter distances and in cleaner water.
  • Inline/guillotine samplers for direct sampling from a fully pressurised pipeline, offering the highest level of accuracy.

In addition, we offer portable models (Carrybox), Economy cabinets and Industrial cabinets, depending on the application and the required capacity.

What is the difference between a vacuum, peristaltic and inline sampler?

Vacuum sampler: Draws wastewater through a suction tube, can sample from depths of up to 8 metres and performs reliably in a wide range of situations.
Peristaltic sampler: Uses a peristaltic pump, making it simple to operate, easy to maintain and suitable for shorter sampling distances.
Inline/guillotine sampler: Samples directly from a pressurised pipeline, providing maximum accuracy and excellent performance with heavily polluted or highly variable wastewater.

Can peristaltic samplers be used for wastewater charging in the Netherlands?

No. In the Netherlands, peristaltic samplers are not accepted by water authorities for wastewater charging purposes. Vacuum or inline samplers are required.
